Marking techniques: Scribe marking on plastic
The diamond tip of a scribe mark makes a clear and clean on a wide range of materials. Above is an example mark made on a plastic helmet by the I-Mark Scribe. The example also shows how the tip can easily mark on a contoured surface.
Marking Parameters as shown:
- Model used: I-Mark I-Series IMS60 – designed for integration into production equipment
- Air pressure: 30 psi
- Character Size: 3/16″
- Number of Characters: 5
- Cycle Time: 2 seconds
