Question about depth of initial(first) I-Mark mark

Published by Marc Steele on

Q: After the cell sits idle (overnight) for a period the marking head will slam into the work-piece when the cell starts operations again.

A: All of the air is out of the system(or it bleeds out from sitting) and when it is re-energized it will jump / slam  because there is no air on the front side of the cylinder to make the flow control work properly.  If it only happens on the first cycle after sitting.
