I-Mark Application Fault (1)

Q: Our IM-IS60, has a fault, Application Fault (1): Layout Not Found. We were unable to find any information for this and was hoping you could give us some guidance.

A: It means you’re trying to mark a layout number which is not assigned to the controller.

There’s a button which says Layouts across the top menu. This is where you can map a layout to a number 0-32. Also, once the layout is assigned a number, you can remotely select the layout you want to mark from a PLC.  If you are turning on the program select bits to choose a program you haven’t assigned, you get this error.  If you haven’t assigned any layouts, try removing the program select bits from your PLC. The default is 0 which is not an assigned number.
