Direct Part Marking
Direct Part Marking is the ability to mark a machine readable code directly into the material of a part or component. This may be accomplished through dot-peen marking, scribe marking, or laser marking.

- UID/2D 2D Matrix is a barcode system that allows for direct part marking into the material of a component or part.
- Consists of a matrix of dots forming a square that are able to be read with an industrial vision system (camera).
