Roll Die Wear
“…Attached are pictures of Columbia’s “50 Cal.” roll die after approximately 2275 barrels, sweet!!! We tried to keep the operators rolling on one side of the die but I can’t guarantee that, even then for 2275 barrels the VSS stamp would have been beat to crap & I can’t see a spec of wear on either images. It ran from 9/8 to 9/14!
Way to show how it’s done Michigan!!!! I’m betting more orders will be coming your way….”
Q: Why do CMT stamps have such a long lifespan as compared to other manufacturers?
A: This case is a perfect example of engraved dies verses EDM manufactured dies.
