COLUMBIA MARKING TOOLS INTRODUCES A NON-LUBE SLIDE-A-MARK™ AIR IMPACT MARKER

Columbia Marking Tools now offers a non-lube version of the 751 8-ton Slide-A-Mark™ Air Impact Marker for low maintenance requirements.  The markers are used for the application of serial numbers, inspection codes, date codes, lot codes or shift codes. They may also be used in staking, seating or assembly operations.

This system offers the widest array of options for integration. The Slide-A-Mark feature acts as a self clamping device, allowing for minimal fixturing, and a radial rod orientation that becomes infinite by loosening the front collar clamp on the rod. In addition, this system is offered with a wide range of holders, numbering heads, various rod ends for stamp inserts or mounting tooling. With 5 different rod styles to hold the single or multi-character stamps, and 4 different approach stroke lengths the Slide-A-Mark is full of options. In addition, the integrated position sensors offer the added benefit to integrators by having the optional advance and return feature.

Also available is the Model 851, a 10-ton Slide-A-Mark Air Impact Marker for jobs that require more force.
