Creating 2D Code Marking with Dot-Peen

QR codes and other 2D barcodes are used for many purposes in industry. These small codes can hold a lot of data including serial or part numbers, dates, lot numbers and price. Useful for inventory management and manufacturing these little codes allow industry to track much more than a simple SKU.

Q2: How quickly can the M-Series Heavy Duty Pin make a 2D code?

A2: The M-Series Dot-Peen with the Heavy Duty pin took under 35 seconds for 3/8” x 3/8’ matrix as shown

Q3: Can the M-Series Heavy Duty Pin mark on a thin metal strip?

A3: The Heavy Duty pin was able to mark the THIN steel strip without bending or deforming the part.
