IMIS dot size and shape

Q: When your device mark one single dot on the part, what is the shape of the dot? Is it a square or is it a perfect round dot?

A:
1. For a dot. The I-Mark unit travels to a X & Y location and pulses an electric solenoid with adjustable dwell timers.
2. Continues line or In High speed mode. The I-Mark axis Y & Y can be programed to travel while the output to a solenoid is turned on and off as desired (in your case this would be to maybe draw a line)
3. Square Dot mode. The I-Mark can be programed to go to a location fire the solenoid then travel within a small cell box like motion (this is done to make a larger more defined dot)
