CMT’s telescoping 8 ton air impact marker the Model 751 Slide-A-Mark is best suited for high production marking. The classic sharp face characters provide a crystal clear mark. But mroe importantly the system offers a low cost solution for Date Coding or Part Numbering of production steel parts.
Columbia Marking Tools Slide-A-Mark 10 ton air impact marker was used to make the dot-style character marks in this steel automotive part.
The CMT Slide-A-Marktm Floor mounted pedestal is used in robotic cells to provide the fastest date marking operation available. Complete cycle time including loading and unloading part is less than 3 seconds, marked to the depth of .005” in standard steel.

Q: What is the NPT and the Tube size required to install the model 288? A: The tube size is 3/8” with a ½” shop air line into the valve. The air connection is 3/8″ NPT.
