Marking a time stamp onto Thermoplastic Part

Customer’s Request to CMT: I am interested in a hot stamp or ink unit to mark a time stamp onto a Thermoplastic part.

Solution from CMT: Marking a time stamp onto a part requires the marking legend to change every time it marks. A hot stamping numbering head could be used but would be pushed to the limits and would require a lot of attention.  CMT suggested a programmable dot peen machine that could be programmed once and off you go.  The mark looks great and the pin should last a long time.
