A new 4-page, 4-color, Hot Stamping Systems brochure
A new 4-page, 4-color, Hot Stamping Systems brochure for plastics that features a series of complete hot stamping machines specifically designed for product identification is now available from Columbia Marking Tools, Inc., 27430 Luckino, Chesterfield Township, Michigan, 48047. The machines are used for the application of serial numbers, inspection codes, date codes, lot codes, shift codes or hour codes in a wide variety of plastic materials.
The new brochure describes and illustrates the large PR914 and the small PR912 models of hot stamping marking press systems that feature a selection of different machine controls packages. These industrial systems have three different controls options: 1) Basic includes electrical heaters with a manual tempswitch and air palm buttons, 2) Delux includes electrical heaters with a digital control, and touchless palm buttons, 3) Ultra Foil includes all the features of the Delux controls with the addition of the foil feed system to make contrasting identification marks. The hot stamp markers can deliver from 360 to 1 ton of force to form a crisp indented mark that is permanently imbedded in the plastic part.
The brochure also discusses the different types of metal dies that can be used as well as a wide range of optional equipment that can be applied for the design of stand-alone machines. Special designs include automation and part fixturing.
