Q: We have an IM-300 with two ID60 heads at a customer’s facility. This unit is the first of two that has been in service for a few months. Our customer has raised a few questions that we are looking for answers for.

1. What is the expected life of the backup battery?

2. There are unused mounting holes on the top of the marking head. Should they be plugged?

3. Is there a way to set up the controller to automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time?

A:

1.There is no battry it is Rom (permenent memory).

2. The holes on the top do not need to be plugged if it is in a very dirty enviroment it probly wouldn’t hurt.

3. As of right now there is no way to automaticly adjust to daylight savings but we are looking at putting it in are next build.
