To summarize:

The system worked in the =
past.CMT recently did service on the marker and =
controller.When marker was returned, it worked when hooked up to a =
laptop at your desk.When connected to a PLC and other I/O =
in your production cell, problems occurred.

 

E-Stop issues:

The E-stop screen alarm on the =
EasyMarker is displayed.The signal from the PLC estop string =
is high (on).The Marker’s reset function will not clear the alarm. =

 

Program start function:

The PLC program initiate signal will =
not start the marker’s program.

Suggestions:

1.)    =
Try to turning on/off the option-bits for in the =
Marker:

E-stop (19) ON

Remote Reset (20) ON

Program Start (17) ON

This should help to isolate if it’s a =
marker problem in the Estop string.

Try forcing turning ON in the PLC the input for =
Marker Ready:

program.

“authorize” the marker to start are working and in the =
