Concave Wheel Numbering Head

Published by Dottie Peene on

When marking along a small cylindrical objects, the character size is restricted. The round nature of the surface will limit the size of the character. This limitation may be overcome by using CONCAVE characters that have the same shape as the surface.

In this example, a press shank automated number head has 1/8″ characters and is designed to be used to mark a 1/4″ round rod. The numbering head has 8 wheels; this includes 3 manually indexed and 5 automatically indexed.

Other classic CMT features include: patented pawl design, direct reading for easy setup, and sturdy one piece frame.
