Model 751 leaking air out the rod end.

Customer: We  have the model 751-OK-25-00 air impact marker. We have the unit installed and are currently testing it.

It is leaking air out the front end near the compression spring. Do I need new seals?

CMT: How old is the unit?

Customer: 1-2 months old. Has not been used in production yet.

CMT: No the seals are still good. It sounds like a valve timing issue, the rod should only be extended long enough to mark the part.

Once it hits the part it has done its job and should be returned.

Customer: Marker is working properly now thanks.
