Logo Mark on Round Part

Published by Marc Steele on

Manufacturers are confronted with the ambition to place their logo on their parts. Parts marked with logos advertise for themselves, and provide customer with the knowledge of where to get more product. High Volume manufactures are restricted to extremely fast cycle times, and some have additional coating or painting processes to do after the marking of the part.

To provide a fast deep mark – hydraulic roll marking presents a perfect marking process for these applications.

The challenge for this application is two fold.

  • The Hollow part would easily be crushed by the force needed to make this part – unless it is fully supported. CMT supplied a complete fixture to assure that the part is not damaged during the marking process.
